On 18th March 2019 the GMDN Agency has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Commission to enable the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union to use the GMDN to support the improved identification and regulation of medical devices. The agreement was signed by Viktor Nazarenko, Minister for Technical Regulation at the EEC and Mark Wasmuth, CEO of GMDN Agency in Moscow ahead of the International Medical Device Regulators Forum.
